SPECIAL NOTICE : This contest is an OFFICIAL NATIONAL QUALIFIER for the 2009 NPC Teen, Masters & Collegiate Nationals to be held July 17-18, 2009 in Pittsburgh, PA, the USA to be held July 24-25, 2009 in Las Vegas, NV, NPC Team Universe on Sept. 18-19, 2009 in New York City and the Nov. 20-21, 2009 NPC Nationals in Hollywood, FL and all other National events for this year and 2010.

SANCTION : This contest is sanctioned by the National Physique Committee of the USA Inc. (NPC). Sanction #9248.

ELIGIBILITY : This contest is Open to all male and female athletes in the U.S. Contestants must be a member of the NPC and membership cards will be available for purchase at the event: 2009 fee: $85.00. In the Teen categories you must be 19 years of age or under as of the date of the contest. For the Masters Women & Men , athletes must be that age or older as of the date of the contest.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS : The official host hotel is the EMBASSY SUITES HOTEL-FORT LAUDERDALE, 1100 Southeast 17th Street, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33316. The hotel is located near the contest site. Every room is a suite with a kitchen (fridge, microwave), dining area and sofa that pulls out for use as an additional bed plus complimentary cooked to order breakfast. AWARDS: Impressive sculptures by Niels Andersen will be the awards. Every competitor will receive a FREE official So. States t-shirt, Goody Bag and copy of the official souvenir program.

MEN'S SO. STATES : 5 Places in each of the 7 weight classes plus Overall. BONUS: The Overall winner will receive travel expense reiumbursement of $250.00 good for the 2009 NPC USA on July 24-25th in Las Vegas , NV or the 2009 NPC Nationals on Nov. 20-21st in Hollywood, FL.
WOMEN'S SO. STATES : 5 Places in each of the 4 weight classes plus Overall. BONUS: The Overall winner will receive travel expense reimbursement of $250.00 good for the 2009 NPC USA on July 24-25th in Las Vegas , NV or the 2009 NPC Nationals on Nov. 20-21st in Hollywood, FL.

WOMEN'S FITNESS: 5 Places in each height class (Short and Tall) plus Overall. BONUS: The Overall winner will receive travel expense reimbursement of $250.00 good for the Sept 18-19, 2009 NPC National Fitness in New York, NY. Special award for top placing Masters Woman.
TEENAGE WOMEN'S FITNESS: 3 Places in 13-16 Age Group and 3 Places in 17-19 Age Group plus overall .
MEN'S FITNESS : 5 Places in one class. BONUS: The Overall winner will receive $250.00 travel expense reimbursement . Special award for top ranking TEEN & MEN'S MASTERS contestant.
WOMEN'S OPEN FIGURE: 5 Places in each of four height classes (A,B,C & D) plus Overall. BONUS: The Overall winner will receive travel expense reimbursement of $250.00 good for the 2009 NPC National Figure Championships in Hollywood FL on Nov. 20-21.
NOVICE WOMEN'S FIGURE: 5 Places - two classes. Open to any female who has not won or placed in a previous contest.
