2007 NPC SOUTHERN STATES BODYBUILDING, FITNESS & FIGURE CHAMPIONSHIPS

SPECIAL NOTICE : This contest is an OFFICIAL NATIONAL QUALIFIER for the 2007 NPC Teen, Masters & Collegiate Nationals to be held July 20-21, 2007 in Pittsburgh, PA, the USA BB & Figure to be held July 27-28, 2007 in Las Vegas, NV and the Nov. 16-17, 2007 NPC Nationals in Dallas, TX and all other National events for 2 years.

SANCTION : This contest is sanctioned by the National Physique Committee of the USA Inc. (NPC). Sanction #10376.

ELIGIBILITY : This contest is Open to all male and female athletes in the U.S. Contestants must be a member of the NPC and membership cards will be available for purchase at the event: 2007 fee: $75.00. In the Teen categories you must be 19 years of age or under as of the date of the contest. For the Masters Women & Men , athletes must be that age or older as of the date of the contest.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS : The official host hotel is the GALLERY ONE FT. LAUDERDALE - A DOUBLETREE GUEST SUITES HOTEL, 2670 East Sunrise Blvd., Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33304. The hotel is located near the contest site. Every room is a suite with a kitchen (fridge, microwave), dining area and sofa that pulls out for use as an additional bed. A special discounted rate of $109.00 per room (single or double occupancy) has been secured - the regular rate for these rooms is around $200 and up. For reservations, call toll free 1-800-222-8733 - be sure to mention that you are part of the SOUTHERN STATES CHAMPIONSHIPS - in order to get the discounted rate. AWARDS: Impressive sculptures by Niels Andersen will be the awards. Every competitor will receive a FREE official So. States t-shirt, Goody Bag and copy of the official souvenir program.

MEN'S SO. STATES : 5 Places in each of the 7 weight classes plus Overall. BONUS: The Overall winner will receive travel expense reiumbursement of $250.00 good for the 2007 NPC USA on July 27-28th in Las Vegas , NV or the 2007 NPC Nationals on Nov. 16-17th in Dallas, TX.

WOMEN'S FITNESS: 5 Places in each height class (Short and Tall) plus Overall. BONUS: The Overall winner will receive travel expense reimbursement of $250.00 good for the Nov. 16-17th, 2007 NPC Nationals in Dallas, TX. Special award for top placing Masters Woman.
TEENAGE WOMEN'S FITNESS: 3 Places in 13-16 Age Group and 3 Places in 17-19 Age Group plus overall .
MEN'S FITNESS : 5 Places in one class. BONUS: The Overall winner will receive $250.00 travel expense reimbursement . Special award for top ranking TEEN & MEN'S MASTERS contestant.
WOMEN'S FIGURE: 5 Places in each of four height classes (A,B,C & D) plus Overall. BONUS: The Overall winner will receive travel expense reimbursement of $250.00 good for the 2007 NPC USA Figure Championships in Las Vegas , NV on July 27-28th .
